Every year, Alternative Urbaine Bordeaux (France) offers a cultural season of urban walks to discover the little-known or poorly-known neighbourhoods of Bordeaux and its communes. The walks are led by “urban scouts”, local people who have lost touch with the world of work, and for whom this paid activity is a springboard for a return to professional life.
l’Alternative Urbaine had the opportunity to appear in the programme “Nés pour bougés”, on France’s number 1 channel: TF1.
“A programme that encourages physical activity, including urban walking.
Immersed in Malek’s walk, an urban scout in the Bacalan Claveau district, the TF1 team shared this moment with members of the Pessac sports office. “It’s a great way to exercise and keep fit, while (re)discovering our town!”
